MIGRAINE MEDICATION RENEWAL
You qualify for this treatment if…
- You have been diagnosed with migraines.
- Your prescription for migraine medication has expired or you are out of refills.
- You have taken your migraine medication within the past 12 months.
- Your migraine attacks have been stable in severity and frequency for the past few months.
- Your migraine attacks do NOT last longer than 3 days (treated or untreated).
- You are not pregnant or nursing.
- You are between the ages of 18-64.
What you need for your Virtual Visit
The ability to show your most recent prescription, or the pharmacy where we can verify your prescription.
A blood pressure reading from the past 12 months.
What to expect from your Virtual Visit
Migraine treatment may include a prescription renewal for migraine medication that has worked well for you in the past 12 months. Your Provider will NOT prescribe new medications or change medication doses. Your Provider will NOT prescribe injectable medications like Aimovig, Ajovy, or Emgality; muscle relaxants like cyclobenzaprine; promethazine (Phenergan); or any controlled medications like benzodiazepines, narcotic pain medication, or butalbital/acetaminophen (Fioricet).
