GOUT ATTACK TREATMENT
You qualify for this treatment if…
- You have been diagnosed with gout.
- You are having gout attack symptoms like sudden joint pain and swelling.
- Your symptoms are on your big toe, elbow, or finger.
- You are NOT pregnant.
- You are between the ages of 18-64.

Ability to show a close-up of the affected joint and the surrounding skin during your Virtual Visit.
What to expect from your Virtual Visit
Gout attack treatmentmay include prescriptions for gout medications that treat the pain and swelling associated with gout flares. Your Provider may recommend over-the-counter gout treatments and self-care strategies. Your Provider will NOT prescribe methylprednisolone (Medrol) dose packs, prednisone, or uric acid-lowering medications like allopurinol (Zyloprim) or febuxostat (Uloric).
