BIRTH CONTROL TREATMENT
You qualify for this treatment if…
- Your sex assigned at birth was female.
- You are NOT pregnant.
- You are between the ages of 18-55.
What you need for your Virtual Visit
Your Provider will need to know your blood pressure. Combination birth control (containing estrogen) can affect blood pressure levels.
You will need to show your Provider a blood pressure reading within the last 12 months. To get a new blood pressure reading, visit your local pharmacy or use a home blood pressure monitor.
Your Provider will need to know additional health information (smoking history and the medications you are currently taking). Certain medications (like some seizure medications and blood thinners) can make hormonal birth control less effective.
What to expect from your Virtual Visit
- Your Provider will determine which Birth Control (if any) is medically appropriate for you based on your symptoms and health history and conditions.
